Wahid Eva Blazin Signs Manager

As a way of breaking new ground in the entertainment industry, one of Sierra Leone’s finest artists Abdul Salaam Whahid aka Wahid Eva Blazin of Afrikan Starr Entertainment has signed Alhaji Barrie Thoronka aba SLE Promo TV referred to as the “Publicist” and BRM record label as his personal manager.

Wahid Eva Blazin a record engineer, producer, song writer and musician of Afrikan Starr Entertainment did the official signing over the weekend at Lumley beach in Freetown.

The artist’s Publicity Agreement outlines that the parties have discussed the matter of how the agreement shall be in effect. They discussed the advantages and disadvantages of a short-term and medium-term agreement. They agreed that the duration for this agreement shall be six months. The publicist agrees to perform on behalf of the Artist the services customarily rendered on behalf of the artists, among others.

Wahid Eva Blazin described the signing as a new ground breaking in the entertainment industry. He explained his musical journey which started in 2001 when he was in Junior Secondary School 1 (JSS1) at Albert Academy Secondary School.

He said he was inspired to become musical because he wanted to be famous and make money. On the 31st March 2013 Wahid Eva Blazin launched his first album title Strong Faith which consists of 10 tracks. After that album he has released lots of singles which if compiled can be up to 7 albums.

He started his musical journey with Afro beat, R & B but now changed to Dancehall and at times led by inspirations.

Wahid Eva Blazin spoke about the decline of Sierra Leone music and how things have changed these few years as artists are now competing internationally.

He concluded by say the signing is one that will add value to the entertainment industry and promote inclusiveness for both the artist and manager.

Alhaji Barrie Thoronka expressed joy for such opportunity and for becoming the first personal manager for Wahid Eva Blazin.

He said something like that has never happened in his life and promised to do his best to please his manager and the record label.
