Among them were 11 home base players and 14 foreign base players. In his statement, the head coach said among the lot, he has selected the players that he thinks can produce the results they want for the two matches.

He though said Sierra Leone has multitude numbers of players at home and abroad but said not all will make it as they have the targeted numbers of players to invite.

In this case, he said he is appealing to Sierra Leoneans at home and abroad in faith to give their full support to the team through prayers and financial support.

Keister assured the fans that the team will give them the results they needed in the must-win matches. Sierra Leone will host Sao Tome in Agadir in Morocco on Wednesday 22nd March 2023 and will engage Sao Tome away at the same venue on the 26th March 2023.
