Executive members of the NOC SLE led by the president Dr Patrick Coker on Wednesday 11th November 2020 inspected the proposed construction site at Siaka Steven Stadium in Freetown which is located at the entrance of the Cemetery gate.
The Deputy Minister of Sports Kai Laurence Mbayo and the Director of Corporate Operations at the National Sports Authority, Alie Sesay, were among the dignitaries that joined the NOC.
Dr Patrick Coker noted that they will soon embark on the construction of the headquarters and other facilities that will benefit the youth of Sierra Leone. He briefed the team that they have secured all the necessary documents including building permit.
He assured the Deputy Minister of Sports that they will utilize the site to give a new face to the NOC.
Deputy Minister of Sports in his brief remark congratulated NOC for the move and assured them of government support. The team took a tour of the site and later settled down to map out the best construction plan.
