True to his promise of human capital development in Sierra Leone, President Bio has officially unveiled and handed over the Julius Maada Bio (JMB) School of Excellence to the people of Magbass Village in Tonkolili district.
The President made this in an official working visit to the district on Friday 12th February
JMB School of Excellence is an ultramodern facility Six Class rooms building with 1 Staff room and a Principal’s Office. It is the first Senior Secondary School in the MAMUNTA MAYOSSOH Chiefdom, Tonkolili District.
It was built by the Minister of Youth Affairs, Mohamed Orman Bangura as a way of paying back to society.
Mohamed Orman Bangura said that the idea came about when he visited the community in 2018 and the people explained how their kids traveled over 6 miles a day to attend senior secondary school.
“The School will be serving 15-17 Communities within the Chiefdom,” he revealed
Parents and Children were happy that they now have a secondary school in their village, as one of the parents puts it,” we thanked the government, now we can see our children attending school in our village instead of working miles away to attend school.
They thank the Minister of Youth Affairs, Mohamed Orman Bangura for supporting the President’s human capital investment.
