The West Africa Trophy Competition will continue today with the host Country Nigeria engaging Ghana in a West Africa derby match today at 10:00 am. In the afternoon Sierra Leone will engage Rwanda at 2:00pm at the TBS Ovals in Lagos. Both countries lost their first matches played in the competition. Sierra Leone lost to Ghana by 3 wickets while Rwanda lost Nigeria by 54 runs on the opening day. On the second day Sierra Leone lost to the host country Nigeria by 63 runs. In the second match Rwanda engage Ghana in the afternoon yesterday but the results were not known until press time. In today’s match Sierra Leone will battle with Rwanda in the afternoon to register their first victory in the competition. In all each country will be playing 9 matches 3 against each participating countries. In tomorrow’s match Sierra Leone will again face Ghana for the second time in the competition in the afternoon after the Nigeria match against Rwanda in the morning.
