Bai Bureh Warriors FC continue to dominate the Leone Rock Premier League after extending their unbeaten streak to 13 matches, firmly holding onto the top spot on the league table.

The Warriors currently lead with 25 points from 13 games, recording six wins and seven draws without a single defeat. They have scored 17 goals while conceding just six, making them one of the strongest defensive sides in the competition.

Despite their impressive form, head coach of the Warriors has urged his players to remain focused and not be carried away by early success.

“We are happy with our progress, but the season is far from over. Our target is to remain consistent and push until we lift the league trophy for the first time,” he said.

In their most recent outing, Bai Bureh Warriors were held to a 1-1 draw by Ports Authority FC in a tightly contested encounter.

Forward Sampha M. Kamara continues to shine for the Warriors with five goals so far this season, placing him just two goals behind the league’s top scorer in the race for the Golden Boot.

The club has also dominated the assists chart, with three Warriors players recording three assists each. Goalkeeper Prospere Haba picked up his fourth Man of the Match award following his outstanding performance against Ports Authority, while Abdulai Melo Kamara has claimed the honour twice this season.

Defensively, the Warriors have kept eight clean sheets — a testament to their solid backline and disciplined team structure.

Hot on their heels are Star Sport Academy FC, who sit second with 24 points from 13 matches. Old Edwardians occupy third place with 21 points, while Bo Rangers are fourth on goal difference, level on 20 points with FC Kallon in fifth.

At the lower end of the table, Diamond Stars hover just above the relegation zone with 13 points. Wilberforce Strikers and Luawa FC each have 12 points, while Abacha City FC remain rooted at the bottom with 11 points after 13 matches.

As the league intensifies, Bai Bureh Warriors’ consistency and resilience continue to set the pace in what is shaping up to be a fiercely competitive season.
