NPAA Cleans Aberdeen, Lumley and Levuma Beaches

The National Protected Area Authority (NPAA) in collaboration with National Tourist Board Sierra Leone on Saturday 7th August 2021 joined hands together in cleaning the Lumley, Aberdeen and Levuma Beaches.

In his statement the Executive Director National Protected Area (NPAA) Mr Joseph Ranto Musa said that part of the authorities mandates is to promote tourism,  therefore he taught it fit to collaborate with the national tourist Board to clean and beautify the beach. The deputy General Manager of Tourist Board Sierra Leone Mr Jeffrey Mustapha Moijor  in his statement expressed thanks for the collaboration with the NPAA , as they have man power to help in the cleaning exercise, he  appealled to the people using the beach to stop throwing plastics bottle, water plastics etc  along the beach, he encouraged all to be using the trash cans along the way . He further said if we distroy the environment the environment will get back at us.

Passers-by expressed thanks and appreciation to the NPAA for a job well done.
