One Alpha Pretchard Jalloh, a former staff of the Sierra Leone Civil Aviation Authority (SLCAA) is still being haunted by political thugs who have been linked to the ruling Sierra Leone Peoples Party (SLPP).
The case of Alpha Pretchard Jalloh whose whereabout remains unknown is similar to many others who have been victims of political intimidations and are on the run to protect their lives.
According to a Police Report dated 28th October 2024, the wife of Alpha Pretchard Jalloh made a complaint at the Sierra Leone Police Goderich Division, Adonkia that a group of unknown men entered their residence and demanded for her husband.
That the unknown men ransacked their house, abused her verbally and threatened to injure her and her family.
Alpha’s wife emphasized that she suffered both physical attacks and psychological distress in the hands of the unknown men who promised that if they come next and her husband is nowhere to be found, her life will not be speared.
She stated that due to this worrying situation, she has decided that their children continue to stay with their grandmother who lives within the neighboring community over fear of another attack.
The Police Report captured that sometimes in November 2023, Alpha Pretchard Jalloh was assaulted, insulted and threatened to be killed by unknown men claiming that he (Alpha) failed to pay political allegiance to the SLPP.
