Few days ago the International Cricket Council released a press release that all cricket nations should prepare a budget that will involve two COVID19 tests at home and away. In this case any country that will be taking part in any ICC Tournament should first test their players at home before departure and they will undergo another test on arrival.

After the test on arrival the team will be camped in a special destination for two days until the results are out. Beside the above release the ICC Tournament committee has earlier postponed all their tournaments to next year 2021. Responding to the press release the CEO for the Sierra Leone Cricket Association Francis Samura said it is now clear that the postponed tournaments will start to take place in the first quarter of the year 2021. In this case he said because the players have sit down for months without training due to the ban on all sports activities they will resume preparation with fitness training for three months. He went on to appeal to the government to ease the restrictions so that they will start the preparation mid or late September this year. Francis also appealed to all the players both male and female to engage in self-training that will keep them fit. For the test at home he also called on the government not only to make the test free but to provide a place to camp teams so that they will not mingle with the others before departure.
