The battle for the championship and the third-place trophy will take place on Sunday at the Kingtom Cricket Oval in Freetown. In the third-place match, defending champions Special Line CC will face Asian Lions CC earlier in the day.
The grand final between Sierra Leone Police and Mid-West CC will follow in the afternoon, all at the Kingtom Oval.
In the semi-final matches, Police defeated defending champions Special Line CC by six wickets. Special Line batted first and were all out for 89 runs in 17.1 overs. Police replied with 90 runs for the loss of four wickets in 14.1 overs.
In the second semi-final, Mid-West CC, in a very tight contest, defeated Asian Lions CC by nine runs. Mid-West batted first and scored 114 runs for the loss of five wickets in 15 overs. The Asian Lions replied with 105 runs all out in 15 overs.
Mid-West reached the final stage with an unbeaten record, having defeated Police twice before the knockout stage. Police lost to Special Line in their first meeting but defeated them in the second encounter to secure a place in the final.
Mid-West players are confident they will register a third victory against Police to lift the championship trophy, while Police have vowed to take revenge, just as they did against Special Line in the semi-final.
In the third-place match, both Special Line and Asian Lions are determined not to end the year without a trophy.
Apart from the third-place trophy, there will be a giant trophy for the champions and a runner-up trophy for the losers in the final match. The organizers will also distribute Man of the Match awards, including trophies for the highest run scorer, best bowler, Player of the Tournament, and several others.
The final is expected to be graced by the Chief Minister and several sports personalities from the Ministry of Sports, the National Sports Authority (NSA), the National Olympic Committee (NOC), and other sporting disciplines across the country.
